Pulse Tracker doesn't count your stock or track where anything is. It tracks one thing: whether each part you rely on can still be bought.
You give it a list — brand, product line, catalog number. From then on it checks each item against the manufacturer's published lifecycle data and records what it finds. When a status changes from Active to Discontinued or End of Life, that change is the alert. Where the manufacturer publishes a last-order date or a successor part, those come with it.
It is deliberately narrow. Obsolescence is the failure that gives least warning and does most damage, and almost nobody is watching for it.

Where a manufacturer publishes a lifecycle tool, the answer comes from it directly and is marked OEM. Where none exists, the status is inferred and marked AI estimate — worth acting on, worth confirming before you order.
